Down-to-earth luxury among the forests of Läänemaa. Panga Sauna Hut is small in size but generous in spirit, offering comfortable lodging for up to 4 guests or one family (extra beds and a baby nest also available). Everything is ready for your arrival, from firewood by the stove and fresh coals in the outdoor grill to soft towels and Nurme natural cosmetics.
Here, natural quiet is combined with modern comforts — from the wi-fi-covered yard to the Cinema Hut in the garden, where up to 2 more guests can stay overnight.
01
The sauna cabin
In addition to the sleeping areas, the sauna cabin naturally has a wood-fired sauna (including a shower and toilet), a kitchen well equipped with quality appliances, a century-old dining table that has been in the family for decades, and a cosy seating area by the fireplace.
02
Sauna & forest spa
The wood-fired sauna is our family favourite. Oh, how lovely it is to step straight onto the terrace and, in winter, refresh yourself in the snow. In the shower room, Nurme cosmetics and soft sauna towels await you. The real forest spa, however, is born by combining sauna pleasures with the hot tub, where in the caress of pure water birdsong restores body and mind.
03
Outdoor area
Outside there is a roofed terrace and an outdoor kitchen with a sink and a Green Egg grill, a dining area and a spacious lounging sofa. There is also the chance to enjoy the charms of the forest spa — a hot tub filled with pure well water, with birdsong and the hum of the forest as your backdrop.
04
Cinema hut
We have kept the sauna cabin screen-free. But when you feel tempted to indulge in a good film or PlayStation in the evening, the Cinema Hut in the yard awaits our guests, equipped with a projector and a quality sound system. There is also a desk by the window, for when life calls and tasks need solving. For an extra fee, the Cinema Hut also offers an overnight stay for two guests. To make the experience more enjoyable, the Cinema Hut has its own toilet.
Your hosts
Helle & Endel
We are Helle and Endel Peäske, living across the road from the sauna house. Panga Sauna Hut has kept our family warm for over 100 years; now it has become our pension. We want you to enjoy your country break and therefore respect your privacy, while remaining available should you have any questions.

A closer look
The kitchen
The sauna cabin's kitchen is small but capable. Out in the countryside our electrical capacity is limited, yet the kitchen still has a fridge, a gas hob and an electric oven, along with all the utensils needed for cooking. Of course you'll also find salt and pepper, as well as mild rapeseed oil from the neighbouring farm. On the kitchen shelf you'll find coffee from our favourite roastery and hand-picked herbal tea.
Sleeping
Good sleep is an inseparable part of a holiday. Upstairs in the sauna cabin, two wide double beds await, and we can also fit a baby cot on request. When there are more guests, we offer accommodation in the Cinema Hut for an extra fee, where there is a fold-out sofa.
Children
Children are warmly welcome here. Outside, a play hut, swings and a slackline await them. Slightly older children can try their hand at our ping-pong table. Indoors, games await both the youngest and the most experienced players.
Sustainability
A sustainable mindset has always been valued in our family. For the sauna cabin it begins with using mature logs cut from our own forest and extends to reusing old floorboards and window panes. We have tried to reuse what is reasonable and bought new what lasts long and consumes little energy. We've also made sorting waste as easy as possible for you. Let's save together!
Surroundings
What to do?
There is plenty to do. To begin with, the countryside is the perfect place to do nothing at all. Within walking distance of the sauna cabin is a pond, where you can swim in summer and skate in winter. Pleasant forest trails for walks can also be found in our neighbourhood. Haapsalu, Marimetsa bog and Noarootsi are a short drive away.
